Monash University developed the Low FODMAP diet, which has been shown to improve symptoms in up to 75% of IBS sufferers.

What are FODMAPs?

Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides, and Polyols. These are short-chain carbohydrates that are poorly absorbed in the small intestine.
